How to Repair a Toilet

To fix a loose toilet seat, flip back the small coverings that shield the screws. Then you will want to place your screwdriver and hold it in place on the screws. You will then take a wrench and twist it so that it tightens. It is a relatively easy fix.

If your toilet handle needs to be held down, there are ways to change that. Lift the top of the toilet so that it exposes the chain and lever. You can move the chain so that it has less slack, which will result in your toilet handle not needing to be held down as long.
