Three Ways You Can Make Your Gazebo More Festive

Rent a fence

With less than a week until Christmas, time is running out to get your house looking ship shape for Santa Claus’s arrival. Luckily, there are some quick, simple things homeowners can do with their outside gazebos to make them look like they’re brimming with holiday spirit. Here are just a few ideas to help.

Make a Scene.

One of the cleverest things people can do to make their gazebos look more festive is to build a little, holiday dioarama there. What better place could there be to make a Nativity scene? If that’s not really your style, you could perhaps arrange mannequins, scarecrows, or cardboard cutouts together to make them look like they’re caroling. It doesn’t matter what’s set up there, because it’ll look great. Outdoor gazebos are, after all, excellent little stages.

Hang Icicle Lights.

Perhaps the most obvious things people can do to make their wooden garden gazebos is to hang lights from them. Hanging and wrapping those vines of bright colorful lights up and around gazebos are surefire ways to make them look more festive. However, the best type of lights to hang are icicle lights. These Christmas lights have extra strings of lights branching off of the main string. These branches hang like vines, to create the illusion of icicles or falling snow. Hanging icicle lights from the top of gazebos would be a great way to spread some holiday cheer.

Build a Snowman There.

Last but far from least, homeowners can make their gazebos more festive by building snowmen there. If you’ve gotten enough snow (or if you have enough snow left), why not get the family all together and build a snowman? After all, any kid who’s seen Frozen at least once has probably been singing about it all year round.

These are just a few ways you can make your gazebo more festive and ready for the holiday season. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments. Read more here.
